A message to our customers

17 months ago We took over the White Horse to help build a community. Our team and I have always been completely dedicated to you - our loyal customers. We understand this is a deeply worrying time and wanted to take the opportunity to reassure you that we are here for you. We pride ourselves on having the highest standards of food safety. In light of recent COVID-19 developments, we have made additional precautions to ensure that we follow government advice. Your welfare is always our primary concern.

As a community we need to pull together which is why we have taken the decision to offer a selection of dishes to take away. We have all seen the photographs of empty supermarket shelves or logged on to discover that no online deliveries are available for weeks. Please do not panic. If anyone is in isolation and in need of food - contact us. We will make every effort to find a way for you to have a comforting meal. Thank you for your continued support. Take care.

Thanks,

Nikki, Mark and the team at the White Horse.

Welcome

Set just back from the coast in Hawkinge, near Folkestone, the White Horse Inn is the perfect place to drop anchor for a few hours and enjoy fine ales and welcoming hospitality.

Come aboard and you’ll find the pub every bit as traditional as you’d hope, with exposed brickwork, old wooden beams and an inglenook fireplace.

Despite the small frontage, this is a spacious pub - with a much-loved pool room beyond the main bar, a separate function room with space for 40 people, and a cosy conservatory.

A sun-trap beer garden runs to the side of the pub, while a covered decking area allows you a little shade from the summer heat.

We can’t guarantee the weather, but with ales from Shepherd Neame at the bar, we can certainly promise a perfect pint…
